What we take into account

The quiz compares your answers with the character of 10 brewing methods described on the site: from pour-overs through immersion to pressure. What counts is the time you want to spend, the cup profile (clean and tea-like versus thick and intense), your gear budget, how much control you want over parameters and how many cups at once. The result is a start, not a verdict - every method has a step-by-step recipe (in Polish) with parameters and a common-mistakes section, so it's easy to check whether it works for you.

Frequently asked questions

How does the quiz match a brewing method?
Each answer adds points to the methods it fits - what counts is the time you want to spend, the cup profile, your gear budget, how much control you want over parameters and how many cups at once. After five questions we show the highest-scoring method, and a second one only when it's right on the leader's heels. Scoring runs entirely in your browser - we don't send your answers anywhere.
How is the quiz different from the AI Advisor?
The quiz picks a brewing method and works without sending any data. The AI Advisor (currently Polish-only) goes a step further: based on six questions about taste and budget it recommends specific coffee profiles - region, variety, processing, roast level - with the help of a language model.
What if the result doesn't fit me?
Treat it as a starting point, not a verdict. Use the back button to return to the questions and change one answer - budget or time, say - and compare results. Every method has a step-by-step recipe with parameters and a common-mistakes section (in Polish), so it's easy to test the fit in practice.
